A large and stunning original antique French Rococo table clock featuring musical trophies. It is beautifully modelled in brass with elaborate scrolls, laurel leaves and a lute and pipes to the front. It is large and heavy and sits with hairy paw feet on its original integral base. The dial is large and deeply moulded and fitted with 12 individual enamel cartouches and finely fretted, blued steel hands.

The French movement is by A.D. Mougin and has the makers mark on the movement backplate. It is of excellent quality and has been fully overhauled and tested by our clockmaker. Pendulum is a replacement. It runs for 8 days on one wind and strikes the hours and halves on a bell. Visit the video clip below to hear the bell and watch the clock running!

Condition of the case is excellent with clean and bright finish and there are no losses. The dial is also in excellent condition with no chips or scratches to the cartouches.

Complete with pendulum, bell and a suitable key. Full setting up instructions supplied if required.
