It strikes on the half-hour and the number of hours on the hour.

The 8" dial has black Roman numerals with in between red Felur-de-lis and a subsidiary seconds dial. All in lovely clean condition.
The walnut and ebony case is beautifully polished with a warm, rich patina. It has a book-matched quarter veneered backboard.
The weights and pendulum are in very good order and the clock is complete with it's original cranked winding key.
