The very decorative case is in well figured mahogany with panels of satinwood veneer.

The good quality 8 day movement strikes the hours on a bell and has a very smart painted dial. It has a subsidiary seconds dial, date aperture and displays the phases of the moon to the arch.
The case is in good unrestored condition and is a lovely colour. It comes complete with the original weights, pendulum, winding key and trunk key

The movement is in good working order and keeping good time. There are a few age related marks to the dial but generally it is in good condition.
