Clockwise has dated this piece to the 1870s.
The 6.75 inch restored silvered pierced dial is a lovely feature of this clock complimented by the original hands and the recently serviced eight day chain-driven movement rests upon curving supports and four inverted cup feet which in turn is supported by an ebonised stepped base. The original glass dome is free of any cracks and has that attractive 'shimmer' of old glass and the red fabric finish to the top of the ebonised base along with the distinctive shape of the dome combine to make this a very desirable piece indeed.

The clock is 16cms deep, 43cms high and 32cms wide.
Dating from the 1870's and increasing hard to find in this condition this clock is priced very well and comes with my three year guarantee as standard. This is one of two skeleton clocks I currently have for sale and delivery is available.
