18th Cent Elm Longcase Clock

Description

An elegant and simple 18th Cent longcase clock by William Ball of Bicester (Oxon). He is listed as working there around 1760.

The case is in elm and is in excellent original condition. It has interesting original split pin hinges to both the hood and trunk doors.

It has a substantial 30hr single hand birdcage movement and smart brass dial with a roman chapter ring and gilt spandrels.

The clock is in good running order

The maximum dimension are:

202cm(79.5") high

52cm(20.5") wide

30cm(12") deep
