Impressive Antique Mahogany Longcase Clock

Description

A most impressive, completely original, mahogany longcase clock dating from around 1840. It has an 8 day movement striking the hours on a bell and has the desirable moon phase indicator to the arch.

The case is in wonderful original and un-restored condition and a lovely colour. The movement looks to have recently been serviced and is in good working order with the moon and date working as they should.

There is no makers name but judging by the quality of the case and movement it must be by a good maker.

Maximum dimensions:

239cm(94") high

66cm(26") wide

25cm(10") deep
