Good 18th Century London Longcase Clock

Description

Fine 18th century George 3rd mahogany 8 day longcase clock by THOMAS PAGE of LONDON. Typical tall elegant case in mahogany and flame mahogany. Astragal moulded decoration to the base with original plinth. Reeded columns to the hood with brass inlay. Silvered dial with SILENT STRIKE and original 8 day movement striking on a bell on the hour. The movement has been fully serviced and as such is in perfect working order.

The case is in good original condition, some small repairs and marks as to be expected commensurate with age. Nice colour with waxed finish.

SIZE; 90" tall overall. 20" wide. 10" deep.
