The bronze vase-shaped case in the ‘goût Grec’ manner, flanked by satyr masks with entwined horns, the front and sides hung with swags of garrya, the flared socle on a stepped white marble base. The enamel dial signed 'Raingo Fres A Paris', with twin barrel movement with silk suspension and countwheel strike to bell, the backplate numbered ‘1619’. Stamped ‘H.Picard’ and stencilled ‘Mercier Ainé’.
