Masons Antiques has dated this piece to the 1900s.
The case has been cleaned and lacquered to prevent tarnishing. It has reeded columns to all 4 corners with Corinthian capitals and bevelled glass throughout.
It has just been fully overhauled by our BHI registered staff and carries our usual 12mths full parts and labour guarantee.
The case is original to the clock, complete with it's original key. It is perfectly sound and strong but does have minor scuffs and losses commensurate with it's age as can be expected.
The white, enamelled dial has black Roman numerals with fine cut hands and signed "Mappin & Webb. Made in Paris".
Height: 19cm with handle up. 16cm with handle down.
A gorgeous looking clock.
