Cross Antiques has dated this piece to the 19th Century.
The case is in highly figured mahogany that is a lovely colour. To the top has a brass ball finial
It has 5 pillars and thick shaped plates. As a regulator it has a dead beat escapement with Harrison maintaining power. The very heavy pendulum has fine beat adjustment, wooden pendulum rod and a calibrated regulating nut.

The case is in excellent unrestored condition and has retained its original finish.
The movement looks to have been recently serviced and as you would expect is keeping very good time (few second/day)
