Description

This is a fabulous example of a six pillar semi-Gothic and scrolling pierced design brass eight day fusee skeleton timepiece clock. The cut plates are in excellent condition with wonderful detail and are held together by six screwed pillars housing the six-spoke train of wheels and anchor escapement. The pierced silvered dial is 4.25" in diameter and the movement sits upon four supports terminating in bell shaped feet, upon a rosewood rounded ended rectangular base with four bun feet .

The original glass dome is in excellent condition too and with this the clock stands 13.25" high. This is an impressive clock in every respect and has just benefitted from a full overhaul and comes with a two year guarantee as standard.
