Worboys Antiques has dated this piece to the 1800s.
The sides have brass drop handles and side frets lined with silk. The convex dial has a brass bezel and high dome convex glass, with moon hands and is signed by the maker John Tunnel, Fleet Street, London. It has an 8 day twin fusee movement that strike the hours on a bell and has an hour pull repeat.
