Description

The French cartel clock is finely made in gilt bronze, in the Rococo style. It is formed of flowing scrolls and acanthus with an elaborate asymmetric C scrolls. It is in stunning condition, finely modelled with good original gilding.

It has the makers mark: "CH*D", see picture.

The balance wheel movement has a duration of 8 days.

Circa 1890.
