Chiming and Striking Weight Driven Longcase Clock

1920 - 1940
Description

The domed top with glazed door enclosing an arched brass dial, with chime/silent and a choice of Westminster, Whittington and Winchester tunes.

The main dial having matted centre and applied silvered chapter ring with engraved Roman numerals and outer Arabic numbers and half hour markers.

A further silvered chapter ring at 12 O'clock for seconds. Cornered with elaborate cherub spandrals.

The trunk having a glazed door enclosing a large brass pendulum bob and brass cased weights.

The German deadbeat escapement chiming on 8 gongs and striking on an additional 4.

Fully serviced with one years guarantee.
