Victorian Drop-dial Wall Clock

Description

An early Victorian mid-19th century mahogany drop-dial WALL CLOCK in full working order. The mahogany case features a solid surround to the dial and a trunk incorporating a brass framed ‘window’ through which the pendulum may be observed. The eight-day fusee movement retains its original 12-inch dial signed: Bladon, Newcastle-under-Lyme and blued steel ‘spade’ hands behind the hinged glazed door with cast brass bezel. 20ins high; 15ins wide; 6ins deep. c1840-50
