Victorian Oak Bracket Clock

1900 - 1920
Description

An imposing oak bracket clock, having a scroll pediment and carved ribbon cartouche with a bevel edge arched glazed door and a matching bevel edge glass rear door. It has a two piece enamel dial with a visible escapement. The 8 day movement stirikes the hours and halves on a gong. It has a mercury filled compensating pendulum.The movement is stamped on the reverse D.G. & Cie. c.1890-1900

Current Condition

Good original finish and patina to the case. The movement has been serviced and is guaranteed for 12 months.
