This lovely single fusee mantel clock has a mahogany case with a wonderful rich colour. The top of the case is shaped with lovely carved features to the front. The body of the case is then square leading to a small moulding and a pretty “belled” section. This then leads to a further, thicker mounding and a smaller flat section. Finally the clock sits of four lovely, shaped wooden feet.
The centre of the dial is then singed by the maker “J. VOAK 35, South Audley St., LONDON” to show that the clock was made by James Voak who is listed as working in London from 1851 to 1869. The dial is then finished by two lovely shaped hands as well as a round glass set into a brass bezel.

The movement is then wound from the front and accessed from the back. It is ticking away as it should and comes complete with pendulum, winding key, and its original brass travel nut. The movement is then fusee and of the highest quality!
It measures approximately:
15.25” / 38.5cm Tall.
9.75” / 25cm Wide.
6” / 15cm Deep.
Please note there is no back or front door key although this does not detract from the clock at all.
