A highly sought after design by a highly sought after silversmith, John Grinsell & Sons.

A heavy piece of glass was used to create this quality example, faceted all the way around and series of simple linear cuts around the circumference; the underside having a star cut.

The striking Art Deco handles and the hinged lid are silver plated and fully marked for this well renowned silversmith.

Excellent condition dating to c.1920. Spanning 7 3/4" handle to handle x 5" x 6" tall.
