The company was established in 1810 and in 1850 Anton Hofmeier joined the company, who was himself a clockmaker and relative to the Winterhalder family. The company then became known as Winterhalder and Hofmeier. This is the larger size of this style available and has been fully restored; standing 16 inches tall it comes with working locks and key and has my standard two-year warranty
Rather than trusting a courier of any sort I unreservedly recommend collection or I can deliver regionally. All antique clocks require delicate handling and specific setting up so it is far better for a dealer to meet a client and talk them through the process, or set the clock up for them, rather than leave the client struggling at the other end on their own.
