Description

A Geo III oak longcase clock by Richard Harris (b 1738) of Wellington ,Shropshire. The hood with pointed arch pediment having a dentil cornice and fine inlay below. The 11 inch (28cm) square brass face having subsidiary seconds and calendar dials in front of a 30 hour movement which is in original condition and strikes on the hour. The case door has a central round inlaid panel ,then down to a base with shaped bracket feet. English Circa 1770, a nice clock in great order with a fine case.
