18th Cent Longcase Clock Movement

Description

A very nice 18th Cent brass dial longcase clock movement by Nathanial Plimer of Wellington, Shropshire. He is listed as working there from 1770 to 1783.

The 11” dial has a roman chapter ring with a single hand and very nice “four seasons” spandrels. The centre of the dial is attractively engraved and has a large date indicator.

The movement appears complete and runs with pressure on the wheels.

Free postage and packing included. If you would like to collect I have a compatible pendulum and weight available.
