Ormolu Cartel Wall Clock

Description

A late 19th Century French gilt ormolu cartel clock in the Louis XV style, having a convex enamel dial, ornate pierced hands with bevel edge glass. The 8 day pendulum movement strikes the hours and halves on a bell and is stamped Japy Frere. (1776-c.1910)

30.00cm wide 56.00cm high (11.81 inches wide 22.05 inches high)

Current Condition

The case retains its original gilding and the enamel dial is without damage. The movement has been serviced and is guaranteed for 12 months
