Mahogany Grandmother Long Case Clock with Westminster Chimes

1900 - 1920
Description

A lovely little 3 Train weight driven Grandmother clock dating from the late 19th or early 20th Cent.

The lovely slim case is in solid mahogany with oak back board.

The superb quality 3 train, 8 day movement chimes the quarters on four tubular bells and strikes the hours on a further tubular bell. It has a very attractive silvered and engraved dial with fine fleur de lyse hands. There is also the all important strike/silent selector at 9 o'clock. It also has its original set of 3 brass cased weights

The case is in good condition with only minor marks associated with age and use. The movement is in excellent working order and keeping good time.

The maximum dimensions are:

164cm (64.5") high

36cm (14") wide

26cm (10.25") deep
