A lovely honest long case clock in original condition with a painted dial showing tropical birds and a working seconds hand and calendar The case is oak but inlaid with a selection of woods and cross-banded with mahogany It is in working order and came from a large house in northern England. The makers name is indistinct but appears to be F Chambley Newcastle The clock retains its original feet and patinated finish
