Description

A fine quality French Napoleon III bronze gilt mantel clock with decorative moulding detail and scrolling foliate design surmounted with putti holding a bow and laurel wreath with doves, torch, urn and a garland of flowers. The clock has inset porcelain panels delicately painted with flowers within a blue border and a white enamel dial with a French eight day movement which strikes the hours and half hours on a bell with outside count wheel.
