18th Cent Oak Longcase Clock

Description

A very well proportioned oak longcase clock by Thomas Holme of Hexham,Northumberland(1746 - 1765). The case has a lovely slim trunk with a mahogany cross banded door with star inlay.

The 30hr movement strikes the hours on a bell and has a very attractive brass dial with cast brass spandrels and working date indicator.

Maximum dimensions:

24cm(9.5") deep
