Scottish Regency Longcase Clock

19th century
Description

A Regency mahogany longcase clock of simple lines, dating to around 1820. It has a dome top hood with a circular brass bezel and side windows. The trunk has a long crossbanded door with a small bracket base feet. It has a 13 inch white enamel dial with a subsidiary date and seconds dial and is signed Scott, Edinburgh. It has an 8 day movement that sounds the hours on a bell.

The case is in good condition having been repolished and wax finished, the movement has been fully serviced and is guaranteed for 12 months. If you would like a video clip of this clock working please email us.
