A George III Stepped Top Figured Mahogany English Bracket Clock. Circa 1805.

The case with choice veneers with brass inlay.
 
A cast brass bezel to the convex dial with blued steel hands.
 
Strike/Silent to the top of the dial.
 
Signed on the dial by the Maker “Webber WOOLWICH” and engraved on the movement backplate “Webber Woolwich”.
 
John Webber of Woolwich is listed in Baillie’s ''Watchmakers and Clockmakers of the World'', as being active circa 1800.
 
The case has brass side handles and well cast side sound fretwork panels. Ball feet, double fusee mechanism of 8-day duration, striking the hours on a bell.
 
Pull repeat of the hour cord.
