Small Mahogany Longcase Clock

Description

A small figured mahogany country longcase clock. The solid mahogany case has a flat top with a square dial, side hood pilasters and a scalloped base plinth. The enamel floral dial is signed Faith of Chichester. It has an 8 day bell striking movement.

George Faith is listed as a maker 1828-1862

Condition:

The case retains its original finish, the movement has been serviced and comes with 12 months guarantee.Originally a 30 hour clock this has been converted to 8 day in the late 19th Century.

Dimensions:

23.00cm wide 189.00cm high 46.00cm deep

(9.06 inches wide 74.41 inches high 18.11 inches deep)
