Nickel Plated Ships Bulkhead Clock

Description

An Early 20th Century ships bulkhead clock, having a polished nickel plated case, mounted on a light mahogany turned back. It has a 7 inch painted dial, signed by the original maker/supplier, John Lilley & Son, Ltd. and has an 8 day platform movement.

Good, original condition. In working order and guaranteed for 12 months.

BASED: Limehouse, Tower Hamlets, London, Greater London, England, United Kingdom

1846-1865 - Traded at 7 Jamaica Terrace, Limehouse, London. 1870-1885 - Traded at 9 London St, London EC. 1890-1901 - Traded at 10 London St, London EC. Appointed by the Navy & East India Co. Known to have sold compass (magnetic).

Also, his work is in The National Maritime Museum, Greenwich, London
