French Boulle Mantel Clock

19th century
Description

A fine French 'Boulle' mantel clock of good size and proportions by Charles Vincenti. The twelve section cartouche dial showing Roman numerals, polished blued steel Hands and a Cast brass decorative bezel surround . The case is typical of Boulle work ,after Andre-Charles Boulle and has a good level of detail with the sides also being fully decorated , standing on 'C' scroll bracket feet with a finial in the form of 'the basket of plenty' to decorate the top . Made in Paris around 1880-90 Stamped and numbered. It is worth remembering that all our clocks have had a full dismantle / overhaul unlike many others for sale online and carry a full 12 month Guarantee in writing , which adds to the value and longevity of this fine clock .
