C19th French Large Bracket Clock

19th century
Description

A fantastic 19th Century French antique brass cased bracket mantel / table clock of upright form. The clock having a decorative finial atop with a pierced gallery below and further finials above an applied star decorated frieze. Central circular clock face having an enameled face with Arabic numeral chapter ring and central pierced gilt center with floral and mask detailing. Flanked by Corinthian column with ribbon swag decoration below raised on a stepped plinth base with bracket feet. Brass movement within with pendulum and key.

Measures 50cm x 28cm x 18cm

Condition

Re polished, clock runs well, not guaranteed though as needs a fresh service by a competent clock repairer
