It strikes on very substantial steel coiled gongs and has a lovely resonating tone. The clock has just been fully serviced by our BHI registered staff and carries our usual 12mths full parts and labour guarantee.

The brass dial has a matted centre with gilt spandrels and a silvered chapter ring with engraved black Roman numerals and finely cut hands. There is a subsiduary STRIKE/SILENT dial to the top. It is signed "W.F.Watts &Sons, 15 Worcester St. Birmingham."

The mahogany case retains it's original French-polished finish and has a lovely, deep, rich patina. It has box stringing to the front with a Sheraton style cartouche to both the top and bottom of the case. The front opening door is glazed with a heavy, bevelled glass.
A class clock.
