Description

An extremely good quality French Napoleon III bronze gilt mantel clock in the Louis XIV style with musical instruments, soldiers helmet and shield surmounted by two doves on a green and white mottled marble plinth base. The clock has a white enamel dial with Arabic numerals and a French eight day movement which strikes the hours and half hour on a bell.

The clock movement back plate is stamped with the makers name:
