Polished Slate and Malachite Mantel Clock

Description

A French polished slate mantel clock, having a break-front case, engraved and inlaid with malachite panels. The dial is signed by The Goldsmiths Alliance , who were the original retailers. The 8 day movement striking the hours and halves on a bell. c.1870

Dimensions:

32.00cm wide 20.50cm high 13.00cm deep

(12.60 inches wide 8.07 inches high 5.12 inches deep)

Condition:

The movement has been services and comes with a 12 months guarantee. The case is in good condition, but has some small chips that are commensurate with age
