The case is in good un-restored "country house" condition with most of the original lacquer intact.

The five pillar 8 day movement strikes the hours on a bell. It has a subsidiary seconds dial, working date indicator and the all important strike / silent selector to the arch. As all London clocks should have it has an all brass pendulum and brass cased weights. The trunk door also has its original lock and key.
