Black Forest Cuckoo Mantel Clock

Description

A large Black Forest cuckoo mantel clock, dating to the mid 19th Century. It has a carved Linden wood case, depicting nesting cuckoos within vine leaves and rocks. It has a 6 inch diameter dial with a cuckoo appearing above the XII on the hours and halves. It has a one day spring movement pendulum movement.
