Description

Well you will not see another one of these for some time! A superb oval engraved 'Grande Sonnerie' carriage clock in an engraved gilt, gorge case with an engraved dial mask in silver and push repeat with alarm. This clock has been fully restored, dismantled , serviced and regulated (see pictures) . The clock is stamped 1261 and has all the hallmarks of being from Tiffany's, New York. The clock was bought near New York too. This clock is bell striking and has the full 'Grande Sonnerie' striking with the option of 'Petite Sonnerie' and fully silent too. The quarter striking carriage clocks on Bells are extremely difficult to find now and this really is a rare clock.
