The case is in remarkable condition for it's age and retains a very good colour, a very deep red and glossy finish . The ormulu mounts are the original fire gilt and bright as are the bracket feet . Made in Paris around 1890 stamped and numbered. The clock strikes one at one and so on with the half hour always just a single blow.
