For sale this fine rare Great Western Railway 8-day signal box, (Pork Pie), tool clock no 0596 by Smith, dating pre-1939. Fitted in its original Oak case with its original Smiths 8 days movement with a platform escapement and is in full working order keeping time, having just under gone a full service. Fully signed original dial with Smith 8day & the GWR signature and numbered 0596 along with Made in England. This great little clock shows signs of a hard-working tool clock, the original and unrestored dial showing some ageing as shown in the pics. Affectionately referred to as a Pork Pie clock because of its well-turned Oak case. It is in original condition and will clean & polish up well with a good patina. Size approx. 14.8cm in diameter by 8.7cm deep including the lens. A rare clock. This is currently the last one of these I have.

This clock has just been subject to a full service and is sold with a 12 mth warranty from date of purchase. (service date 30th Sept 2020)
