An Early Victorian Mahogany Drop Dial Wall Clock

An early Victorian drop dial wall clock timepiece in a pale mahogany case, the moulded surround with cast brass and glazed inner bezel over a 12” cream painted dial with Roman numerals and outer minute track, above the flames pendulum drop with carved scrolling ears. Side door to right to reveal the eight day English fusée movement and pendulum, a further trap door beneath the drop. English, circa 1850.
 
Condition: Excellent; the case is clean and free from scratches, the door hangs well, the movement has been fully serviced and overhauled and is in full working condition. The glass is probably a replacement. Key supplied.
