An Early 20th Century Chinoiserie Mantel Clock Timepiece by Asprey.

Description

An early 20th century mantel clock timepiece in an arched shape Chinoiserie case, the turquoise base with gold highlights, geometric patterns, oriental figures in a garden with birds and a horseman to the top, the brass bezel with convex glass over a white enamel dial with bold Arabic numerals in black with outer minute markers, detailed Asprey, to the rear a pull-off circular brass cover to the French eight day drum timepiece movement with platform escapement, and integral winding key and hands button; the whole sitting on brass bracket feet.

English, with a French movement, circa 1910.

Condition: Excellent, the case decoration is in good order with no losses, and the clock has been fully serviced and overhauled, and is in full working condition.
