Description

A mid 19th century bracket clock dated 1841, made in the late 17th century style. It has a caddy bell top with a brass carrying handle, with a 8 inch square brass dial and block feet. The dial has a silvered chapter ring, brass spandrels and is signed by the maker Todd of Dumfries. It has a twin fusee 8 day anchor escapement movement that sounds the hours on a bell. Jon Todd is listed as working 1828-1849.

Condition:
