The flame mahogany case retains it's original French-polished finish and has a beautiful age related patina. It has a side opening inspection door and a key lockable door to the underside of the case. There is a shaped glazed venticle through which the pendulum can be see working. This has a brass surround and there is inlaid brass stringing detail to the lower half of the case.

The white painted, convex dial is in lovely clean condition and is signed with the makers details. It has very finely cut hands which compliment the black Roman numerals and exemplify the superior quality of the clock.
It has a heavy, cast, brass bezel and convex glass.
A real gem.
