Masons Antiques has dated this piece to the Regency era.
Of very unusual and distinctive design, it has brass inlay, fluted corner finials, and a gragooned and fluted caddy style top finished with a gilt finial. (The overall height shown includes this finial). It stands on brass bun feet and has a glazed, key lockable rear door. There are lion face carrying handles to the side.

The white enamelled convex dial has black Roman numerals and is in perfect condition with no chips, cracks or crazing. It has a cast brass, decorated bezel.
The 8 day, fusee movement has just been fully overhauled by our BHI registered staff and carries our usual 12 months full parts and labour guarantee.
