Cross Antiques has dated this piece to the 1800s.
The 8 day movement strikes the hours on a bell. It has an attractively painted dial with subsidiary seconds and date indicator. It appears to be complete but probably needs some attention. I have not had it running so no guarantees given. The black work on the dial is a bit faded and there are some marks round the date aperture.
The dial is 12” x 17”
