Antique Oak Longcase Clock Case

Description

Here we have a smart longcase clock case. It probably dates from the late 18th C and is oak with decorative oak cross banding to the base and trunk door.

The trunk has reeded canted corners and a nice slim long door with shaped top. The arched hood has slim turned columns.

It is in quite good condition but there is a small piece of cross banding missing from the base

The maximum dimensions are:

52cm(20.5“) wide

210cm(83“) high

24cm(9.5“) deep

The dial aperture is 12 inches x 17 inches.
