It has an eight-day movement. The clock has fine silvered original dials with a gilt mask. The main dial is enhanced with raised and cast gilt ornamentation. The smaller one is for setting the alarm which rings on a bell which is housed under the case. The escapement at some point has been changed with a good quality replacement. The clock is in good working condition with key.
