Attractive Mahogany Cased Longcase Clock 87.75in or 223cm. Charming Painted Dial with Floral Corners and a Smartly Dressed Lady holding Harvested Wheat Straw Signifying The Rewards of a Successful Life. Dial signed David Rees Dowlais (probably Dowlais Wales) with the Back Plate impressed with W Francis who was a Dial maker 1810-1831. He was succeed by his wife Sarah. The 8 Day Movement with Date Window & Seconds Dial has been Checked, Oiled & Tested to be in Good & Full Antique Working Condition.
