19th Cent Oak Twin Fusee Bracket Clock

1900 - 1920
Description

This is a very smart bracket clock by Winterhalder & Hofmeier, the case is in oak and is in the architectural style.

The 8 day twin fusee movement is most unusual in that it has a large vertical platform escapement. It strikes the hours and quarters on two gongs and has a smart silvered dial with gilt spandrels. The dial has subsidiary dials for chime/silent and regulation.

The case is in good condition and the movement is running but keeps stopping so probably needs a service.

The maximum dimensions are:

31cm(12“) wide

45cm(17.5“) high

23cm(9“) deep

You are welcome to collect but if you can’t we can arrange delivery within UK for £35.00.
